This complex site lies within the West Byfleet conservation area and is occupied by a listed building designed by Nash.

Over the years the site and building had been developed in to a nursing home. Fluid created a new development proposal for the site that saw the removal of approximately 60% of the listed building, stripping the building back to its original Nash design. Complementary buildings were then designed in consultation with the council’s conservation officer and local consent was granted for this unique development.

The site also suffered from flooding issues which had to be overcome through the design process. Fluids appointment extended from planning through to working drawings for the refurbishment and new build elements.
